The Oliver Issue of Paradigm is our eighth collection of brand-new fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. We're proud to introduce Tim Mayers and his novel Intelligence Manifesto, the winner of our 2008 Paradigm Novel Contest. Also in this issue is an exciting feature dedicated to the art of cooking -- one that explores the cooking world through interviews with renowned writer Michael Ruhlman (The Elements of Cooking, The French Laundry Cookbook), Top Chef: Chicago winner Stephanie Izard, and Emmy-winning chef Michael Chiarello. Our Art department makes a bold return with the haunting imagery of photographer Alexey Titarenko while the experimental electro-pop sounds of Yellow Minute's Sean Brennan round out the issue.
Enjoy!
