For those of you who've been following us all along, or for those of you who've just found us: Paradigm is celebrating a landmark issue this time out. We've achieved more than we ever expected. Since 2007, we've been stunned by the fiction, nonfiction, art, music and poetry that have graced these 'pages.' The quality of what we've had the pleasure of featuring has surpassed our expectations -- and this issue is no different.

That said, we'd be nothing without our contributors nor the generosity of the many celebrated authors, musicians, and artists who have agreed to be interviewed over the last few years. The Sagan Issue is our tenth issue collection. And I think I speak for Matt, T.J., and Jerry when I say that each issue seems harder to produce than the previous one. We're always setting our sights higher, creating new challenges for ourselves, and thinking of new avenues to explore. As such, I think they'd all agree that it's worth the trouble. Each one seems more rewarding than the last.

From the faraway worlds of bestselling novelist Peter David to the dreamscapes of Jeff Carlisle, we're thrilled to explore the minds of two artists whose imaginations propel us far beyond the known and the ordinary. Also, in the spirit of celebration, we look back at some of our favorite Paradigm interviews with musicians and singer-songwriters over the years. Enjoy.  -  Paul Fuhr
